Mazda Canada
celebrates 43 years of supplying Canadians with reliable vehicles, since 1968 Mazda Canada has been supplying vehicles at the Mazda dealerships across the country. Mazda Canada is a subsidiary of Mazda Motors Japan which has been manufacturing vehicles and parts since 1930 with the first Mazda Go which was launched in 1931. Mazda has come a long way from their original compact cars, with their cutting edge and unique design; the Mazda3 concept which was released in 2004 replacing the Mazda 323 became their flagship and set a new standard for many other auto manufacturers like Toyota which were slow to revolutionize many of their original vehicle designs. Mazda has proven that building a reliable and versatile line of cars can make it compete with some top players like Toyota and Honda which for years have had a larger portion of the Canada auto market.

2012 Mazda3 CanadaFord and Mazda have been partners for over 40 years and co-designed several concept cars, they currently share the Mazda6 platform with the Ford Fusion, Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX. While the Ford CD2 platform is used in the Mazda Tribute, Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner. The Ford-Mazda partnership has significantly improved production by cutting research and development costs and the opportunity to share motors and auto parts.

Mazda's reputation not only in Canada but worldwide for quality and value has grown through the years through reliable engineering, turning the Mazda Miata and Mazda RX-8 into cult classics cars which have withstood the test of times and have created Miata fan clubs around Canada. While Mazda was a little late with the SUV and crossover fever, six years after the Mazda Tribute was released, Mazda proved it still has what it takes in the SUV world by unveiling the Mazda CX-7 crossover and Mazda CX-9 SUV. With the CX-9 sharing the same engine and platform as the Ford Edge while the Mazda CX-7 shares the same engine with the Mazdaspeed3, with the performance and handling of a sports car. Who said a crossover couldn't be fun to drive.

The compact Mazda 2 arrived to Canada in 2010 a direct competition to the new Ford Fiesta which shares the same platform, the Mazda 2 is four door hatchback with superior fuel economy, sporty and fun to drive. With Mazda's Zoom Zoom philosophy all their cars are thrill to drive.
